You can initially log in to the application either via user ID and password or via single sign-on.
If you initially log in via single sign-on, the initialisation page of the application will be displayed directly after you enter the URL (see step 5 in the following section). You can skip steps 1-4.

The operator of your application can configure an input error counter for incorrect password entries. The operator defines how many times you may enter an incorrect password. If you make more than the defined number of incorrect password attempts in one session, your user ID will be locked. In that case, contact your advisor. As long as the maximum number of failed attempts is not reached, the input error counter is reset to zero once you enter your correct password.
